I have been providing therapy as a clinical psychologist since 2009. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Calvin College and my master’s and doctoral degrees from Wheaton College. In 2014, I opened my private practice, where I worked with adolescents, families, and adults. Over time, I discovered that my work with college students and adult women was especially meaningful, and these populations remain the primary focus of my practice. I am fascinated by the complexity of what it means to be human and am a lifelong learner of all things related to human growth, connection, and well-being.
I feel incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to walk alongside remarkable people who are often navigating some of the most difficult seasons of their lives. I never take for granted the trust it takes to invite someone into your story, and I value the opportunity to be part of that journey. I consider it a privilege to have a front-row seat to witness the exceptional resilience, strength, and growth that can emerge through these experiences, as well as recognize the universal needs and experiences that connect us all as human beings.
Outside of the office, I enjoy finding creative outlets through photography, drone videography, graphic design, and teaching set painting. At home, I love gardening, interior design, and spending time with my daughter and our two mischievous Goldendoodles. I also savor all that Michigan has to offer through camping and kayaking, as well as traveling and exploring other countries.
